Infrastructure for the Renaissance

Le Moulin is an interdisciplinary residency program in development - transforming a 19th-century French watermill into a space where artists, technologists, scientists, historians, and more will collaborate on intensive programs, powered by the energy of the river.

First residencies launch 2027.

WHAT WE'RE BUILDING

A live-work residency in the French countryside for interdisciplinary makers and thinkers. Intensive programs will bring together fellows whose work spans technology, art, science, history, and culture. Working studios, shared meals, collaborative projects, regenerative living. A laboratory for how we might work and live differently as we evolve faster than ever.

Current Status: In development. Finding the watermill, building funding partnerships, and designing the program model. First residencies planned for Q1 2027.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Artists exploring craft and technology. Technologists building human-aligned tools. Historians documenting culture as it happens. Scientists translating research. Anyone doing ambitious work that benefits from time, space, and community.

When applications open in 2027, submissions will be by post only, a deliberate choice for thoughtful applications.

SUPPORT THE MISSION

Le Moulin is being built on a hybrid model of earned income, philanthropy, and strategic partnerships. Early supporters shape how this infrastructure develops.

Institutional Partners Foundations and cultural organizations can sponsor fellowships, co-design thematic residencies, pilot new models for interdisciplinary work.
